Results of the 2011 AudoIndex survey carried out in Scandinavia have just been released to leave Subaru undefeated as Swedish drivers’ most satisfying brand.

AutoIndex is the most in-depth CSI/customer survey about cars in Scandinavia with more than 80.000 private car owner interviews. The survey has been carried out every year since 2001 and covers more than 24 car makes across the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian markets. The overall survey result aggregates scores from four areas; vehicle, dealer, workshop and brand loyalty, with added weight placed on actual vehicle satisfaction.

After 15.547 randomly chosen private car owners answered 130 questions on four areas (vehicle quality, dealer satisfaction, workshop service and brand loyalty), Subaru remained undefeated as Swedish drivers’ most satisfying brand, a position it reached in 2007 and has maintained for three years after it won it back in 2009.

Not only did Subaru get this year’s best average score in all four areas, it also won the overall title with a comfortable margin. Subaru is the first brand to retain its number one ranking for three consecutive years.

– We are of course very happy and proud to retain this great title. Our previous number one rankings had increased expectations among new and demanding Subaru owners who had turned in their BMW, Mercedes or Audi and bought a Subaru to join the league of happy fews- the most satisfied Swedish car owners. The fact that we won again this year shows the daily efforts we put in to meet their expectations are paying off, explained Torbjörn Lillrud, Managing Director of SUBARU Nordic AB.

Details and full results will be published later this spring in Sweden’s largest car magazine "Vi Bilägare". For more information and high-res material, please visit www.subaru.se
